The Tim Hortons I used to love back in high school isnt what it used to be. Everything used to be handmade and the customer service was friendly and personable.
Since I came in to work at Tim Hortons in 2006 until 2010, the mass production took over the franchise and their quality of the food downgraded from homemade goodness to tasteless food. I used to eat weekly with my cousins because we love Tim Hortons and we will order the soup combo (donut and drink). I will order their cheesecake every two weeks because it has this smoothness you know it was made on the same day.
Then, Tim Hortons get more popular and the company decides to give this task to a factory. They also have the audacity to get rids of the dessert section (my favourite nanaimo bar).
This is when you know globalization is bad.
Thank God there are many other places that sell good quality food but i miss the old Tim Hortons. It used to be my favourite place to eat.
Nowadays, what doesn't change is mostly students working on the weekends and the full timers are either the day time and the evening.
The service is pretty good and I don't need to wait that long to get my food. Other than that, the restaurant renkcates nicely throughout the years and it has more of a chalet feel. I sometime wonder why they don't use the money they earned to improve the taste of their food.
Overall, I still go there but if I want to enjoy a meal out with friends, it won't be at a Tim Hortons. -

I'm a regular at this tim Hortons since 2006, the service its bad now. Each time I ordered something the same girl, always does it so lazy. She nevered smile or look at me when she served me...

Extremely terrible service from one of the new staffs, inara. I ordered an ice coffee with two milk, a hot coffee with one milk, and two breakfast bread with her, but she gave me two hot coffee instead, then I told her that my order was an ice coffee. She replied me with rude manner said "oh, you said that you want a regular coffee, that is it, and I confirmed that with you"
And yes, she did confirmed that with me, and but she only mentioned one coffee which was the hot one. My girlfriend and I asked her to make a new one for me, she turned her head around and made us a new one but she put way too much sugar in it, and I told her that from the beginning of our order said we don't want any sugars in our drinks!
After that, another lady came to help her to make us the drink that we wanted. A SIMPLE ICE COFFEE WITH MILK!!! -

This is the reason why I will come back to Canada. These donuts are so much better than Starbucks, D and D, or any other donut makers in America. I had the raspberry filled chocolate heart donut and the Nutella donut. Both were great, raspberry was the best! I also had a breakfast wrap that was not bad at all. The coffee was a little bitter but you can balance it out with an amazing donut! And the service was great very nice.

I am a regular customer and all I can say is that this Tim Hortons is one of my favourite. This place always have the food that you want and are never out of stock. The only little problem is that it kind of has slow service at night, but in the morning and noon it's fairly quick service. I also like coming to this Tim Hortons because it's peaceful and isn't always busy so it's good to study here.
